Cover Caption This Week's Cover: No one want's to pose when Father gets the camera out after tea, but the picnic snapshot is always worth while. First, of course, the children have to be cleaned of their sticky camouflage of honey and gorse, and the baby has to be captured before she sidles off into the undergrowth. The photographer waits patiently for playful pups and persistent passers-by to disappear from the viewfinder. And then the sun goes and hides behind a cloud. "Finally," says cover artist Ostrick, Father despairs of ever getting everything right and gives the camera shutter a hopefully haphazard click. It nearly always turns out to be the happiest picture of the year."
