Shipping and Handling Rates
We have 3 price bands calculated by size according to the longest edge of the print. For Multi Purchases you pay only 1 shipping fee based on the size of the largest ad (scroll down for details)

Placing your order through the Paypal Checkout
When you are ready to make a purchase there are 3 easy steps.

1 Use the drop down menu above the 'Add to cart' button to select your regional destination.
The price displayed will show the item cost plus the shipping cost total.

2 Click the 'Add to Cart' button which will take you to our dedicated secure Paypal payment section. 

3 From there you can choose to use your preferred payment method  and complete the Paypal purchase formalities.
Multi Purchase Arrangements

It is currently  Retrofair Policy to charge a single Post and Packing fee regardless of how many ads you buy in a single transaction. That means if you purchase several ads at the same time (no limit) and require them sent anywhere in the world you will only pay dispatch costs for the one single biggest ad in the order.

Multi Purchase through Paypal Shopping Cart
Currently due to Paypal limitations we are only able to apply your shipping refund after you have made a full purchase. On receipt of your multi purchase order made through Paypal, we confirm it by email within 24 hours. In the same correspondence we tell you how much shipping refund you are due, and when it will be processed (usually within 24 hours).

Your refund is then quickly and securely processed through Paypal to the account address you used to place the order. You will then be sent a further refund confirmation email from Retrofair and possibly from Paypal (depending on your paypal account preferences)

Please contact us as soon as possible if you don't receive a refund confirmation email from us within the 24 hour stated period period.

Multi Purchase - Direct Orders

If you prefer you can place an order of any size with us direct. 

Simply use our contact form to tell us which ads  you want.

On receipt we will quickly check if the ads are still available** and place a reserved note on the website listing so no one else is able to make a purchase whilst your transaction is being processed.

You will then be sent an email invoice confirming availability and total cost taking into account your P&P discount. Please note that we are only able to reserve items items for 48 hours after you have been sent a purchase invoice.

** As our office hours are 9am to 5pm UK it's possible that an item you are interested in may be purchased and paid for by someone else before we are able to place a reserve on it.
Shipping Destinations
We will ship anywhere in the world using Royal Mail's domestic  standard and regular airmail services. For pricing convenience we have categorised our shipping and packaging costs according to the following  regions
Shipping costs will vary in accordance with the size of the package and are displayed on each item listing.
We aim to ship your goods within three working days of receiving cleared payment. 
Purchase and Shipping confirmation

Your payment will be acknowledged through email along with a delivery address confirmation and a shipping date advised.

Once posted you will be sent a shipping confirmation.

For UK orders we currently use Royal Mail Economy Delivery

For overseas deliveries we use Royal Mail standard airmail (Please note overseas deliveries may be subject to random security or customs checks which may delay the arrival your goods)
Delivery times are subject to carriers standard services and out with our control.
International delivery times do vary, however your items should normally arrive no later than two weeks from dispatch date.

If goods have still not arrived after this time, please contact us so that we can assist in locating it.

Express Delivery and Insurance

Other postage options are available at extra cost. If you have a special requirements. Please get in touch with us for pricing advice preferably before buying.

Shipping to an address other than your own

We are happy to deliver to someone else if you wish. When you get to the Paypal checkout page under delivery details simply fill out the address you would like your order sent to as well as your own billing address. Unfortunately we cannot currently deliver to more than one address per order.

We can also include a special gift message at no extra cost. Use our contact form to tell us what you want us to print on the delivery note.

We cannot accept responsibility or be held liable for delays in delivery due to third party services and carriers. 

Packed with Passion
We go the extra mile to make sure your goods arrive in the same excellent condition they were in when they left our store.

All vintage ads and prints are shipped flat with the following high specification: 
  • Tough brown paper outer with all edges protected using plastic tape
  • Sealed in polythene sleeve for water protection
  • Reinforced with strong recycled corrugated card front and back
  • Clear waterproofed address label along with a prominent  ‘Do Not Bend’ message to minimize potential damage in transit.

Returns

Quite simply - No quibble returns! Just tell us  first within 7 days of receipt of your goods.

Your items are carefully inspected before they are shipped. If your items are damaged on arrival, incorrect or not as described we will refund in full (including cost of return postage. UK Only) If you want to make a return for any other reason, such as change of mind or just not liking the  print, we will refund the purchase cost only. You are responsible for the return postage. To Qualify for refund goods must be returned in the same condition as were when sent.

Before returning 

Refunds claims should be notified to us within 7 days of receipt of goods. Payment will be refunded promptly when we have received the item back.

We reserve the right to charge an administration & handling fee at our discretion.
